I’m Joe Granitto — a photographer and content creator helping creatives turn their passion into a business. I share what I’ve learned from building an audience, working with brands, and creating digital products.

What kind of photography do you specialize in?

I focus mainly on automotive photography, but I also create content around lifestyle, business, and content creation strategies.

Do I need an expensive camera to start photography?

No — you can start with whatever camera you have, even your phone. Gear helps, but learning the fundamentals (lighting, composition, editing) matters far more.

How do I get better at car photography?

Focus on angles, lighting, and adding depth with foreground/background elements. Practice often, experiment, and study other photographers’ work for inspiration.

Isn’t content creation too saturated?

Not at all — there are 8+ billion people in the world. People connect with authenticity and personality, so there’s always room for new voices.

How do you make money as a content creator?

I monetize through brand deals, affiliate links, workshops, and digital products like presets and templates. I also grow my email list to connect directly with my audience.

Why do you recommend starting a newsletter?

Social media platforms can change overnight, but your email list is yours forever. A newsletter helps you build a loyal fan base outside of social platforms.

Can I turn my hobby into a business while working full-time?

Yes — I started while working a 9–5. With consistency and smart time management, you can build a side business and grow it into something bigger.
